Ms. Natalia Mufel
Education Specialist, UNICEF New Delhi

Ms. Natalia has several years experience in the education sector with international and government agencies as well as civil society. She has been working for UNICEF both at national and international levels since 2003 and started her UNICEF career as the Early Childhood Development Specialist in Belarus. From 2008 - 2012, she was Education Specialist in UNICEF’s Cambodia Country Office where she provided technical assistance to policies/programmes in the area of quality (child friendly schools) and ECD with a focus on the most vulnerable, including children with disabilities and ethnic minorities. She was also the ECD consultant in UNICEF Myanmar.

Ms. Natalia is a national of Belarus and complete her graduate work in Psychology from the European Humanities University and completed further post-graduate work with the Belarusian State University (Psychology),Gordon Institute of Business Science, University of Pretoria (Leadership Development); Maastricht University, the Netherlands (Policy Analysis); and the Eastern-European Gestalt-Institute. She also has experience as a researcher, psychologist, and university lecturer in psychology, child development, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)/crisis interventions. She has published articles related to PTSD, early childhood education and development including for children with special needs.
